- Position: Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Plastic Injection Molding)
- Location: Lancaster, PA
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am - 3pm (based on business needs)
- Compensation: $26 - $29/per hour (Dependent on Experience)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a key role in daily warehouse operations by physically handling incoming and outgoing materials, components, and finished plastic parts. This role ensures all incoming shipments are accurately received , inspected, and recorded, while outgoing orders are properly packaged, labeled, and documented for on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, a strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures, and familiarity with various warehouse management systems.
Essential Functions:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly.
- Operate forklifts to load and unload goods safely.
- Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves and managing inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient warehouse operations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and processing orders.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
- 3 years of previous experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse distribution, or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes, including picking & packing techniques.
- Proficient in using basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Experience with MRP systems (IQMS) is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.
- This is a physical and fast-paced job; must be organized and work well independently
- Energetic with the ability to be on your feet all day
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds daily
