Part-Time Math Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Math Teacher who will inspire confidence in mathematics, foster critical thinking, and create engaging learning experiences for students.

The Part-Time Math Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction that promotes problem-solving, collaboration, and academic growth while supporting the spiritual and personal development of students. Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction

• Foster critical thinking and problem-solving through meaningful learning experiences

• Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with students and families

• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success

• Integrate faith, values, and the Holy Cross mission into classroom culture and instruction

• Maintain lesson plans, grading, and classroom organization in a timely and professional manner

• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field

• Valid Indiana teaching certification or ability to obtain certification preferred

• Experience teaching mathematics preferred

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Ability to engage students through creative and differentiated instruction

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of a Catholic school rooted in the Holy Cross charism

• Ability to complete Safe Environment training and required background checks
