Account Executive - Life & Health

Job Summary: You'll play a key role in driving client success. You'll collaborate with Sales Executives and top carrier partners to secure new business and deliver exceptional service to existing clients. This is a relationship-focused role where you'll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring smooth placement of insurance solutions and building lasting partnerships that make a real impact.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of small to middle market clients with their group and individual benefits policies.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge in the employee benefits
• Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to understand their workforce demographics, organizational goals, and benefits priorities.
• Work collaboratively with all internal teams and departments at Dimond Bros.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations related to their benefit programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and effectively addressing their employee benefits needs
• Facilitate the annual open enrollment process through updating plan information, conducting educational presentations, and assisting employees with any questions or inquiries
• Collaborate with insurance carriers and third-party administrators to maintain positive relationships, negotiate terms, and resolve issues for smooth plan administration
• Work closely with our Compliance Advisor to conduct audits and reviews to ensure that benefits programs are compliant with applicable laws and regulations
• Ensure accurate and timely policy documentation and administration in accordance to Dimond Bros. Standard Operating Procedures and Insurance Industry Standards

Position Requirements

Education And Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits, human resources, or related business.
• Strong and/or developing understanding of employee benefits (medical and ancillary)
• Illinois Life and Health Insurance License
• College degree preferred
