Job Purpose and Scope
Dillard’s is seeking a visionary and passionate Sales Director to lead our Intimate Apparel area. Essential Job Functions
- Provide strategic direction and dynamic leadership for the Intimate Apparel department, inspiring a culture of service and high performance.
- Champion exceptional customer experiences, setting standards that delight and engage.
- Foster a growth mindset—embrace innovation, learn from mistakes, and take calculated risks to advance training and education.
- Develop, author, and execute comprehensive training content; facilitate both in-person and virtual trainings at a high level.
- Identify training needs and partner with the Intimate Apparel Education Director to address gaps and elevate store performance.
- Mentor and develop leadership within the Intimate Apparel area, enhancing business acumen and coaching teams for excellence, with a strong focus on advanced bra fitting techniques.
- Drive results remotely, building meaningful connections and inspiring behavioral change across multiple locations.
- Maximize the impact of training and communication by leveraging digital tools (Learner Mobile, CONNECT, Google Sites, DASH, etc.).
- Monitor and interpret industry trends, translating insights into actionable strategies for the department.
- Collaborate closely with buyers, DMM, and GMM to support key initiatives and communicate store needs and successes.
- Plan and execute in-store events to drive engagement and boost sales.
- Partner with other Sales Directors to share best practices and foster collective success.
- Advocate for the Intimate Apparel area with senior leadership, influencing direction and representing team needs.
- Guide SBM’s, fit specialists, and stakeholders to appropriate decision-makers, ensuring clarity and efficiency in project execution.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen, effective time management, and adaptability to frequent travel and evolving priorities.
- Set the example in service, performance, and work ethic.
- Achieve ambitious business goals: grow revenue to $300 million, meet turn rate targets, and sustain a gross margin of 0.45 .

Position Requirements
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Retail Management, Education, or related field
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Organizational Development, or Leadership & Development
- Minimum 2 years’ experience overseeing Intimate Apparel departments.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a store management or leadership role.
- Exceptional communication skills; adept at facilitating both in-person and virtual trainings.
