Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks throughout the distribution center, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, offices, and common spaces by disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure floors are free of debris and hazards by regularly inspecting and promptly addressing any spills or obstructions.
- Sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, and equipment to promote health and safety for all staff.
- Assist with organizing storage areas by removing clutter and ensuring supplies are properly stored and accessible.
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or required to maintain a pristine environment.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, stand for extended periods, and lift moderate loads.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
