Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily workflow, productivity, and day-to-day performance of the Foreclosure Sales team
- Provide direct staff oversight, including training, coaching, work direction, follow-up, and accountability for daily operations
- Oversee staff responsible for foreclosure sale and post-sale processes, including sale notices, motions, praecipes, bidding instructions, confirmations, deeds, and related activities
- Monitor work queues, deadlines, exception items, and aging matters to ensure timely and accurate completion
- Ensure compliance with firm procedures, client directives, court requirements, investor guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards
- Conduct quality reviews and provide timely feedback, coaching, and operational guidance as needed
- Identify performance, workflow, and quality concerns and partner with the Department Manager on performance-related issues and follow-up
- Serve as the primary escalation point for team-level operational issues, delays, and workflow concerns, and elevate material issues to the Department Manager as appropriate
- Monitor team performance metrics, timeliness, and quality results, and communicate trends and concerns to leadership
- Assist with workload balancing, staffing support, and operational coordination to meet departmental goals
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and updates are maintained in internal systems and client platforms
- Support implementation of procedural updates, workflow enhancements, and client changes within the team
- Participate in audits, client calls, and departmental meetings as needed
- Minimum 3 years of experience in foreclosure, default servicing, creditor rights, bankruptcy, or related legal operations required
- Prior experience with foreclosure sales and post-sale processes preferred
- Candidates with broader default servicing/default legal operations leadership will be considered
- Supervisory experience required, including direct oversight of staff in a day-to-day operational environment
- Strong understanding of deadline-driven workflow management, quality control, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead staff, manage priorities, reinforce accountability, and maintain performance standards in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify operational risk, address issues directly, and escalate appropriately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with case management and client systems preferred
- Experience in a real estate law firm or default servicing environment
- Familiarity with case management systems and client platforms used in foreclosure operations
- A strong supervisor who can lead daily team operations, reinforce accountability, and support results
- A candidate with practical foreclosure sales knowledge who can effectively oversee workflow and support staff performance
