  • Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and foster the professional growth of our Title Examiners and administrative support personnel.
  • Title Assessment: Analyze title reports and commitments to identify and resolve issues regarding ownership, liens, encumbrances, easements, judgments, and chain-of-title gaps.
  • Curative Management: Oversee strategic title curative actions, including obtaining lien releases, satisfactions, corrective deeds, and managing formal title claims.
  • Government Portfolio Packages: Guarantee the precise preparation and submission of FHA and VA title packages alongside all foreclosure-related title deliverables.
  • Instrument Workflow Control: Manage the comprehensive workflow for Assignments of Mortgage (AOMs), Lis Pendens, Title Order Instruments, and related property filings.
  • Performance Metric Oversight: Monitor departmental KPIs, balance workload distribution, and enforce strict adherence to client SLAs.
  • Compliance & SOPs: Maintain up-to-date departmental procedures, operational documentation, and a state of constant audit readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with firm attorneys, paralegals, third-party vendors, and title underwriters to resolve complex title or document discrepancies effectively.
  • Client Interface: Represent the department in client conference calls, operational audits, and due-diligence evaluations.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Operational Excellence: Drive consistent, top-tier performance across all title examination and document processing functions.
  • Timeline Optimization: Secure the timely completion of title reviews, curative remedies, and public recordings aligned with client and investor expectations.
  • Flawless Compliance: Maintain outstanding compliance scores and pristine internal and external audit results.
  • Positive Culture: Cultivate a departmental culture centered on accountability, unified teamwork, and continuous process improvement.
  • Talent Empowerment: Support the individual professional success and skill advancement of your team members.

What We’re Looking For

  • Industry Expertise: 5 years of dedicated experience in title operations or foreclosure title management within a law firm, title agency, or mortgage servicing environment.
  • Management Background: 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role leading title examiners or legal support staff.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of title examination, lien priority, curative mechanisms, and regional real estate recording protocols.
  • Regulatory Familiarity: Solid grasp of ALTA standards, underwriter guidelines, and state-specific foreclosure frameworks.
  • High-Volume Capability: Proven track record of managing high-volume, multi-state title portfolios.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience utilizing legal case management systems such as Perfect Practice, ICE, Tempo, or ADR is highly advantageous.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional leadership traits, sharp analytical thinking, and refined communication skills.
  • Quality Focus: Superior organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy and client satisfaction.

Why Join Us

  • Total Rewards: Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
