Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of mechanical construction projects ($5M–$30M )
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, field staff, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, safety, and code compliance standards
- Track job costs, change orders, submittals, and RFIs
- Provide mentoring and direction to project engineers and junior PMs
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts
- 8–10 years of experience in mechanical contracting project management
- Demonstrated success managing HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects in commercial/industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and code compliance
- Proficient in project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Base salary up to $160,000 (commensurate with experience)
