Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of ground-up multifamily construction, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with estimating, design, and permitting teams during preconstruction.
- Develop, track, and maintain project schedules (CPM/critical path).
- Forecast project financials, prepare owner billings, and manage budgets.
- Review, negotiate, and administer owner contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Monitor project risk and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee staffing needs, subcontractor performance, and procurement planning.
- Prepare executive reports and present project performance to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 4 years of commercial construction experience, with significant ground-up multifamily project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and project teams.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexity in the Seattle or broader Pacific Northwest market.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCM).
- Familiarity with Seattle permitting processes and local building codes.
