Water/Wastewater Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead public infrastructure construction projects throughout the East Bay. This role is ideal for someone who understands the technical, contractual, and field realities of utility and treatment plant work — and can successfully manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
You will oversee projects that directly impact local communities, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and related civil infrastructure.

You will oversee projects that directly impact local communities, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and related civil infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage water and wastewater construction projects from planning through completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field leadership
- Review plans/specifications and ensure compliance with public works requirements
- Lead project meetings, reporting, and documentation
- Manage change orders, cost controls, and risk mitigation
- Support preconstruction efforts including estimates, constructability reviews, and scheduling
- 5 years of experience managing heavy civil, utility, or water/wastewater construction projects
- Strong knowledge of public works processes, contracts, and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to manage project financials, schedules, and subcontractors
- Experience with treatment plants, pump stations, underground utilities, or similar infrastructure preferred
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
