We are partnered with a leading commercial general contractor in the Washington, DC market that is actively looking to add an experienced MEP Project Manager to their team. This individual will play a key role in driving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and trade coordination are aligned throughout the life of the project.

This individual will play a key role in driving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and trade coordination are aligned throughout the life of the project.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and oversee all MEP scopes from preconstruction through project closeout
- Coordinate with ownership, design teams, subcontractors, and field teams to drive execution
- Lead MEP planning, procurement, scheduling, and sequencing efforts
- Manage multiple trade partners across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls scopes
- Review drawings, identify conflicts, and drive solutions with project teams and trade partners
- Track budgets, change orders, buyout, forecasting, and cost controls for MEP scopes
- Support commissioning, startup, and turnover processes
- Ensure quality, safety, and project standards are maintained throughout execution
- 5 years of experience managing MEP scopes on commercial construction projects
- Experience working for a general contractor or managing mechanical/electrical construction projects with strong cross-trade coordination exposure
- Proven experience managing MEP packages valued at $20M
- Experience managing multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, etc.)
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, sequencing, and coordination
- Ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and trade relationships
- Experience with large-scale commercial, healthcare, mission-critical, mixed-use, or institutional projects preferred
