We’re partnered with a well-established concrete contractor in San Antonio looking to bring on a General Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial concrete projects across Central and South Texas.
This role is ideal for a proven field leader who thrives on complex scopes, tight schedules, and high-visibility projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide overall field leadership for large concrete construction projects from mobilization through closeout
- Oversee multiple superintendents, foremen, and field crews
- Drive project execution for structural concrete scopes including:
- Tilt-wall construction
- Formwork systems (gang, table, and custom forms)
- Structural concrete, foundations, and podium decks
- Columns, shear walls, elevated slabs, and post-tensioned systems
- Rebar placement, embeds, anchor bolts, and pour sequencing
- Lead concrete operations on projects in:
- Healthcare
- Manufacturing / Industrial
- Parking garages
- Data centers (a plus, not required)
- Coordinate closely with PMs on:
- Schedule execution and look-ahead planning
- Manpower loading and productivity
- Subcontractor coordination and site logistics
- Enforce safety, quality, and production standards across all active sites
- Serve as the primary field representative with owners, inspectors, and trade partners
- 8 years of experience in concrete construction field leadership
- Strong background on projects $10M in concrete scope
- Hands-on experience managing:
- Tilt-wall and structural concrete packages
- Rebar, formwork, and large-volume pours
- Proven ability to lead large crews and multiple job sites
- Deep understanding of concrete sequencing, production rates, and field problem-solving
- OSHA safety knowledge and a strong safety-first mindset
- Data center experience is a plus, but not required
- Long-term role with a stable, reputable concrete contractor
