Job Summary
Assist faculty with the day-to-day activities for students participating in simulation learning experiences on assigned campus.
Essential Functions
Manage simulation equipment, supplies, and space including maintaining an inventory of all equipment and consumables and basic maintenance/repairs of equipment.
Assist with preparation of simulation learning experiences including set-up and take-down during scheduled simulation time, preparation of simulated patients and props, and preparation of scenario forms.
Provide support for faculty facilitating simulation learning experiences including updating all simulation software as needed, assisting students in using all equipment and software that facilitates student learning in the simulated environment, and assisting with the operation of the manikin software during scenarios.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of related work experience such as healthcare, computers, retail and/or warehouse.
Ability to read and understand operating instructions.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, push and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to interact effectively, courteously and impartially in a team environment and with varied populations.
Knowledge of current software applications.
One year of related work experience such as healthcare, computers, retail and/or warehouse.
Ability to read and understand operating instructions.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, push and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
