BMA is seeking a Simulation Support Team Technician to join our team at Camp Dodge.
Job Summary
- Works as a full-time non-exempt (hourly) employee supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP).
- Serves as a Simulation Technician on the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) team, providing support to the MTC and other training facilities or deployed sites as required.
- Serves as the local hardware, software, and functional expert for one of the following: FIRESIM, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE, or SENGEN.
- Answers questions concerning operation of the system, troubleshoots problems, and provides configuration management on software/hardware systems.
- Provides formal classroom instruction to BSWS operators prior to constructive exercises.
- Maintains setup, testing, and troubleshooting guides for SME system.
- Troubleshoots computer hardware, software, and basic networking configurations.

Required Skills & Certifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the LVC-G field. Demonstrated experience in Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming (LVCG) federations, models, systems, tools and Mission Command Systems (MCSs)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in setting up systems, troubleshooting, and software configuration issues. Military experiences preferred. Simulation experience preferred.
- Must have an understanding of Windows OS and Linux OS.
- Experience working in a high security environment and management of classified equipment; Understand the Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation process and Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
- Must meet DOD 8570.01-M Baseline and Computing Environment (CE) Certification Requirements Level II. Must meet all IA training and reporting requirements.
- Must be able to successfully pass the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Awareness compact disk--read-only memory (CD-ROM) course as a minimum training requirement.
- Reports directly to the SST Lead.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CompTIA Security certification.

- Position: Outdoor and Office working environments. Exposure to natural conditions existing at different locations around the US.
