Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines
- Perform basic machine setups and adjustments
- Load/unload parts and materials
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
- Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools
- Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience required
- Basic blueprint reading skills required
- Basic machine setup experience preferred
- CNC experience preferred, but not required
- Stable work history preferred
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Must pass a drug test

Additional Tasks:
* Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
* Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
* Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, according to required machining sequences.
* Check to ensure that workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation.
* Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished workpiece dimensions, or numerical control sequences.
* Remove and replace dull cutting tools.
* Stack or load finished items, or place items on conveyor systems.
