Inventory Warehouse Associate for National Cable Company
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Project Duration: 3 – 4 Months (Contract/Temporary) - May lead to long-term employment
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour paid weekly (avg $2,000 monthly)

Key Hiring Requirements

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, high-energy Inventory Warehouse Associate to assist with a
short-term cable inventory project in Cedar Rapids. This role is critical for the accurate pulling,
issuing, and shipping of specialized cable products. Successful performance during this 3-4
month project may lead to permanent, long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Forklift Operation: Safely and proficiently operate a forklift to move pallets, organize
heavy cable reels, and load/unload shipments.
- Pallet Management: Efficiently move, stack, and organize pallets within the warehouse to
optimize space and accessibility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and performing
regular inventory counts.
- Order Picking & Pulling: Accurately select cable reels and components based on work
orders.
- Shipping & Receiving: Prepare outgoing orders for transit and process incoming
inventory shipments.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse floor to ensure safety and
streamlined operations.
- Quality Control: Exercise sharp attention to detail to ensure correct specifications
(length, gauge, type) are met for every order.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong Attention to Detail: Precision is critical, as part numbers can often look very
similar and may be written in small print; you must be able to accurately identify and
match SKU numbers and measurements.

supervision.
