HRIS & Benefits Systems Specialist

In this role, you’ll oversee system configuration, manage data integrations with insurance carriers, support payroll connectivity, and ensure accurate enrollment and billing processes.
This position carries significant responsibility—your work plays a key role in ensuring employees have timely and accurate access to their benefits. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and client contacts to deliver a smooth and reliable experience.

Benefits System Management
Carrier Connectivity & Data Accuracy
Payroll Integration Support
Billing & Reconciliation
What You Bring:
- At least 3 years working directly with a benefits administration platform in a benefits broker or multi-client environment - preferably Employee Navigator
- Minimum 2 years handling EDI connections (such as 834 files) and resolving related issues
- Experience integrating benefits data with payroll systems like ADP, UKG, Paylocity, Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA
- Background supporting benefits programs for mid-sized organizations
- Experience with benefits modeling tools
Technical Capabilities:
- Familiarity with EDI file structures and integration workflows
- Strong Excel skills for reconciliation and data validation tasks
- Experience working with back end of systems to include Employee Navigator, combined with carrier systems, payroll systems and CRMs such as Salesforce
