Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated PM Commons / Housekeeping professional to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our communal areas and guest spaces. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a welcoming environment by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility. Your energy and attention to detail will help foster a positive experience for all visitors and team members alike.

Shift Hours: PM ~ 2:30p-11p

Duties

• Always recognize and warmly greet hotel guests.
• Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and lounge spaces, ensuring they are spotless and inviting.
• Clean, disinfect, refill paper/soap, and polish fixtures in the restrooms; continue to check throughout the night.
• Dust all windows, wall edges, chairs, tables, etc.
• Clean elevators; including floors, walls, and doors
• Collect garbage throughout the public areas of the hotel.
• Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Keep hotel entrances clean and free of any debris and obstructions.
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory, restocking cleaning materials as needed to ensure continuous operations.
• Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning of high-touch surfaces and specialized equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and maintenance requests to support operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to any cleanliness or safety concerns raised by staff or guests to uphold the highest standards of hospitality.
• Respond promptly to any guest requests (Pillows, Blankets, Towels, etc)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Physical mobility and stamina
• Ability to follow instructions
• Professional and polite
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and safety protocols in a busy facility setting.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning under tight schedules.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
