B50 – The Village store is located in the Mercato of the former Traverse City State Hospital and is your source for everything Village! Historical artifacts on display along with Guided Tour information and tickets available for purchase. Village T-shirts, glassware, postcards, books and more. We also have snacks, beverages, household items and Beer & Wine!
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Team Player, self-starter, sense of urgency.
- Detail-oriented.
- Organized.
- Ability to interact with store customers and tour patrons in a professional and friendly manner.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate ideas in a professional and articulate manner.
- Be able to sit, bend, stand, move around the store, and lift items up to 25 lbs. unassisted and possibly more on occasion with assistance.
- Be able to use common retail tools such as basic computer applications and smart phone devices.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly customer service to store and tour patrons.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers
- Perform all opening and closing duties as directed by the store manager.
- Use down time to stock merchandise and perform other side duties as directed.
- Follow all store procedures.
- Order money for bank as needed.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
