Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests or clients, contributing to their overall experience. Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and provide necessary supplies in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and organized.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including industrial cleaning tasks or deep cleans.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Previous experience in hospitality or custodial management is desirable but not mandatory.
