Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, surface disinfection, and outdoor work when required to uphold overall cleanliness standards
- Communicate professionally with clients or residents to address specific cleaning needs or concerns promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping is highly valued and preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while following health and safety regulations
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents
- Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus but not required
