About the Role:
Dashing Diva is seeking a contract-to-hire Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist. The TA Specialist is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process that includes identifying, engaging, and hiring the right people to support the organization across two entities. The TA Specialist will create compelling candidate experience to attract and motivate top talent an provide guidance and support for all HR-related functions. The Specialist reports into the HR Manager to support organization growth, development, and change as well as fosters a culture of teamwork, inclusivity, and mutual respect. This requires 5 days in the Port Washington, NY office.
What You Will Do:
Talent Acquisition (60%)
- Performs full cycle of talent acquisition activities including screening calls, assessments, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants, and close qualified candidates
- Researches and develops new sources for internal and external candidates through the company intranet, social media, local/college job fairs, and professional networks
- Support in Designing and developing accurate and meaningful job descriptions, job postings, and interview questions reflecting each position’s requirements
- Partner with hiring managers, and key stakeholders to understand talent needs, including giving leaders a view of external market and competitive data
- Forecasts quarterly and annual hiring needs by departments based on business needs, maintain applicant tracking system, and prepare recruiting reports as needed
- Prepare and analyze Weekly Hiring Statistics (Turnover, Time to Hire, Source, etc.)
- Prepare reports and/or queries as needed
Employer Branding & Outreach (30%)
- Promote the company’s employer brand through social media, job fairs, and industry events.
- Assist in developing creative ways to attract diverse talent and showcase company culture
- Partner with marketing to enhance employer branding on digital platforms and career sites
Employee Engagement Planning (10%)
- Assist in developing and executing company events to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to create initiatives that support workplace culture and employee well-being
- Monitor and assess employee engagement through surveys, feedback sessions, and key metrics
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, applicant tracking systems, and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- PC skills to include MS Office Suite (Word, strong Excel skills, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
