Nail Designer

About the Role:

Dashing Diva is seeking a Nail Designer to support in designing every element of the Dashing Diva’s nail design to launch and beyond while ensuring it delivers value to both customers and business. The Nail Designer reports directly to the Assistant Manager of Nail Design. The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, well-disciplined, and open minded with a strong sense of design/fashion and trends. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects proactively and work in a self-directed manner, contributing ideas and driving projects forward collaboratively. Experience in working in fashion, beauty, and/or cosmetics is preferred.

What You Will Do:

• Design and create nail tips and sample boards on a regular basis
• Make nail sample boards for various ongoing projects
• Apply nail stickers to nail tips, gel nails/basic polish to nail tips
• Make layout of artwork using nail stickers
• Conduct regular product testing and assessment to ensure product performance, quality, and safety
• Evaluate all incoming samples in close collaboration with factories and the sourcing team
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and generate new product ideas based on market trends, customer feedback, and brand vision
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences
• Support the product development team in all aspects of creation and launch
• Assist in the research and development of new products, expanding the existing product line
• Other duties assigned by the Senior Nail Art Designer

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual design, or related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; candidate skilled in both tools are strongly preffered
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Creative mindset with a sharp eye for trends, innovation, and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of project workflows and effective cross-functional and external partner communication
• Knowledge of nail polish, products, and cosmetology
• Detail-orientated and has a keen eye for nail designs
• Effective communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to take initiative and drive projects independently
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
