Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager
Location: Nassau County, New York
Pay: $130,000 - 140,000

Required Qualifications:
- 5 years leading high-performing talent acquisition teams, preferably in transportation or
- Own full-cycle recruiting for the Midwest Region, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with regional operations, safety, and compliance teams to align hiring with business needs.
- Lead and develop a team of recruiters and sourcers, ensuring performance metrics are consistently met.
- Provide coaching, training, and support on interview techniques, compliance, and candidate experience.
- Manage Workday access and permissions for all recruiting team members.
- Implement standardized interview processes and job-specific rubrics to reduce time-to-fill and improve retention.
- Oversee document collection and onboarding task completion in Workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, launch, and grow the U.S. HR function from the ground up.
- Lead all core HR processes such as onboarding, compliance, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
- Act as the company’s inaugural HR/People leader, establishing foundational programs and practices.
- Create and roll out scalable policies, tools, and processes to support a rapidly expanding organization.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape hiring strategies, workforce planning, and organizational structure.
- Track and improve critical people metrics, such as hiring volume, retention, and onboarding success.
- Maintain full compliance with employment laws and internal HR standards across all applicable regions.
