What You'll Do
- Update and maintain financial systems with a primary focus on inbound customer payments and payment fraud prevention
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness, accuracy, and performance of financial systems
- Act as liaison to IT/technical teams for system programming, coding, and feature development — translating business needs into clear technical requirements
- Develop solutions to financial systems issues and partner with systems design to implement new features, including performing financial systems testing
- Ensure financial modules are operating effectively, efficiently, and with appropriate security controls in place
- Work across all phases of financial systems development: design, development, implementation, testing, and ongoing support
- Support day-to-day work prioritization, scheduling, and resource allocation for financial systems activities
- Ensure client needs are met, priority processing and projects are completed on time, and resources are utilized effectively
- Prepare, review, or provide input to project business cases
- Manage process improvement, productivity, methodology, and standards across the team
- Assist in developing team members through operations and technical training as needed
- 5 years of Project or Product Management experience working with both business and IT/technical development stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate relationships across cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — ability to elicit, document, and present business requirements clearly
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead cross-functional teams from ideation to completion
