Superintendent - Commercial Construction
Location: San Francisco or Sacramento, CA
Salary:$125K -$225K base (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee the onsite execution of mid-to-large-scale commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining project quality and schedule, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring successful project delivery in accordance with design and contract requirements. The ideal candidate has strong commercial construction experience and familiarity with sectors such as educational, life sciences, mission critical, retail, data center, and corporate office environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily on-site construction activities to achieve schedule, budget and quality objectives for commercial projects.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Support design-build and ground-up construction efforts by providing constructability input, sequencing plans, and field-driven solutions to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on commercial construction superintendent experience; demonstrated success managing mid-to-large scale projects. Projects range from $10M-$150M
• Required experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects; strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and field coordination.
• Proven background or exposure (nice to have) in Educational, Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Retail, Data Center, Office, and Corporate project types.
• Experience with design-build and ground-up construction delivery methods preferred.
• Prior experience as a Senior Superintendent or General Superintendent is a plus; supervisory experience and proven mentorship capabilities preferred.
