Compensation: $150k - $180k base salary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join a well established, Oregon based public accounting firm. This is a leadership opportunity for a tax professional who wants challenging work, meaningful client relationships, and a sustainable career without the pressure or short term mindset commonly found in private equity backed firms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this Senior Tax Manager role, you will balance technical expertise, client advisory, and team leadership.
- Lead and review complex tax engagements for individuals and business entities
- Act as a trusted advisor to long term clients
- Mentor and develop managers and senior staff
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership on quality, growth, and people initiatives
- Help foster a positive, balanced, and accountable team culture
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- CPA required
- 8 plus years of public accounting tax experience
- Proven experience managing teams and client relationships
- Strong technical tax knowledge and planning capabilities
- A leadership style aligned with collaboration and long term thinking
