REMOTE Tax Supervisor/Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Remote Tax Supervisor/Manager to oversee our tax department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Trust Estate Tax and a CPA certification. This role involves managing tax compliance, providing strategic tax advice, and ensuring the accurate preparation of tax returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and filing of Trust Estate Tax returns for clients
• Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients regarding trust and estate matters
• Manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
• Review and analyze tax returns for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide updates on tax matters
• Stay current on tax law changes and their implications for clients
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated tax strategies
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification is required
• Minimum 4 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance, specifically in Trust Estate Tax
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in public accounting is a plus
