Project Manager

Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, management of project resources, and adherence to safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects from planning through to execution and delivery.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all cost elements are accounted for and managed effectively.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with all team members and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Conduct site assessments and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks to minimize disruption and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and address concerns promptly.
  • Facilitate team meetings to promote collaboration and problem solving among project staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the work of subcontractors and other project personnel to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, ideally with a focus on healthcare or higher education projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and technologies, including AutoCAD.
  • Excellent budgeting and resource management skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and project management software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to lead teams effectively.
  • Understanding of structural engineering and code compliance, particularly in life sciences and healthcare settings.

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
