Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the production team to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all FDA and USDA regulations in food manufacturing.
- Develop and implement production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Lead and train production staff, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or production management.
- Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations regarding food safety and quality.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a production team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
