Injection Molding Process Technician

Position Overview
The Injection Molding Process Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role involves troubleshooting production issues, optimizing processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

*We have roles for 2nd Shift (3:45 PM - Midnight) and 3rd Shift (Midnight - 8 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot molding processes to ensure optimal cycle times, part quality, and machine performance.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing nozzles, nozzle heater bands, and addressing basic hydraulic and electrical issues.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain consistent product quality and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong processing knowledge and provide leadership on the floor to guide operators and support team efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven ability to set up and troubleshoot injection molding machines, including adjusting process parameters and resolving quality issues
• Hands-on experience performing minor maintenance tasks such as changing nozzles, heater bands, and addressing basic hydraulic and electrical faults
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and mold schematics to support accurate machine setup and diagnostics
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards in production environments, including ISO or GMP protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and leadership capabilities to guide operators and support efficient production
