Title: PLC Controls Specialist

Location: Valdosta, GA (31601)

Salary: $103,500 - $120,000

Our portfolio includes some of the most recognized brands in the U.S. We are currently seeking a skilled PLC Controls Specialist to join our team in Valdosta, GA. 

What You Will Be Doing

• Program and configure PLC systems to automate industrial processes and integrate with HMIs and sensors.
• Troubleshoot and maintain control systems to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on automation projects and equipment commissioning.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLCs and related automation equipment.
• Document PLC programs, system designs, and maintenance procedures for compliance and future reference.
• Conduct system testing and validation to optimize reliability, speed, and efficiency.

What You Need For This Job

• Proficiency in PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
• Hands-on experience with major PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex control systems and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Understanding of safety standards and codes (NFPA, IEC, ISO).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
