Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal
Position Overview
Award winning Personal Injury firm is seeking both a Litigation Paralegal to assist the legal team in managing cases, conducting research, and preparing legal documents. The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-litigation and litigation processes, particularly in the area of personal injury law.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
- Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
- Maintain and organize case files and documentation
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses to gather information
- Help in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits
- Monitor and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law
- Strong understanding of pre-litigation and litigation processes
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
