We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Malpractice Defense Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in defending medical malpractice claims and will play a key role in providing legal counsel and representation to our clients in this specialized area of law.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in medical malpractice defense cases in court and during negotiations
- Research and analyze legal issues related to medical malpractice claims
- Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery materials
- Meet with clients to discuss case details and develop defense strategies
- Collaborate with medical experts to build strong defense cases
- Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
- Stay updated on laws and regulations related to medical malpractice and litigation
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- 2 years of experience in medical malpractice defense or related litigation
- Strong knowledge of medical malpractice law and litigation procedures
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
