IT Security Compliance Specialist

Position Overview
The IT Security Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the organization's IT systems and processes comply with internal policies and external regulations. This role involves conducting audits, managing risk assessments, and implementing controls to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular IT audits to assess compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements related to IT.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IT General Controls (ITGC) to safeguard data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and enhance security measures.
• Prepare reports and documentation for compliance assessments and audits.
• Stay updated on the latest regulatory changes and best practices in IT security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT audit and compliance, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of SOX, ITGC, and IT compliance frameworks.
• Certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Experience with ERP systems and understanding of risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information effectively.
