What You'll DoAs an Industrial Hygiene Professional, you'll lead efforts to assess and mitigate occupational health risks across diverse industries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting qualitative exposure assessments and developing sampling plans
- Performing industrial hygiene surveys for chemical, physical, and biological hazards
- Interpreting monitoring results and recommending exposure controls
- Authoring detailed technical reports with data analysis and regulatory references
- Investigating health effects of chemical agents lacking formal exposure limits
- Applying statistical tools to evaluate exposure trends and outcomes
- Designing strategies for ongoing monitoring and control effectiveness
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal health standards
- Delivering industrial hygiene training programs at client sites
- Supporting indoor environmental quality investigations
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5-8 years of experience in industrial hygiene consulting or program management
- CIH certification or eligibility from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (not required but preferred)
- Strong technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills
- Ability to mentor junior staff and manage projects independently
- Familiarity with OSHA, ACGIH, and other regulatory standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Master's degree (MS, MSPH, or MPH) preferred but not required
