We are looking for a FSQA Supervisor to lead food safety and QA operations in a food processing environment. This role ensures that all products meet strict standards for safety, regulatory compliance, and overall quality. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who promotes a safe workplace, supports continuous improvement, and helps maintain a culture of accountability and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise QA technicians and support management in maintaining a safe, hazard-free work environment.
- Provide safety training, conduct safety audits, complete documentation, and follow up on needed maintenance.
- Assist in managing HACCP programs, including prerequisite and supporting programs.
- Monitor employee compliance with GMP, SSOP, and other food safety or quality systems.
- Support QA documentation efforts, including data collection, charting, and reporting.
- Help maintain accurate product hold logs and ensure proper handling of nonconforming product.
- Provide administrative support for hourly team members regarding payroll, attendance, and related documentation.
- Bachelor degree in Food Science, Life Science, Biology, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a food processing environment.
- Strong leadership ability and effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Travel requirement: Less than 10 percent.
