Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. This role is crucial in providing expert legal representation and guidance to clients navigating family-related legal matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and other domestic issues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, integrity, and a strong commitment to advocating for clients' rights and interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and adoption cases.
• Conduct intake interviews with prospective clients to assess their legal needs and determine the best course of action.
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and briefs, in a timely manner.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations regarding family law disputes.
• Assist clients with issues related to child support, paternity, and domestic violence restraining orders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law regulations and court procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and support.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law litigation.
• Strong knowledge of family law issues, including divorce, custody, and adoption.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
