Job Title: Family Law Attorney
Location: Roseland, NJ
Salary Rate: $100,000 - $140,000

What You Will Do

• Represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, alimony, paternity, and modification actions
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to client goals
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and alternative dispute resolution
• Prepare for and appear at hearings, trials, and conferences in Probate & Family Court
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, manage expectations, and guide decision-making
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management
• Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and documentation
• Advocate for clients with professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity

Required Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey.
• 5 years of experience in family law or domestic relations litigation
• Strong knowledge of New Jersey family law statutes, procedures, and Probate & Family Court practices
• Excellent negotiation, litigation, and courtroom advocacy skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to support clients through emotionally challenging situations
