Position Summary
The ideal candidate will have experience handling mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. You will work closely with clients and senior attorneys to structure, negotiate, and close deals across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on corporate and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, and governance.
- Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements, disclosure schedules, and related documents.
- Conduct due diligence and provide strategic guidance on risk allocation and compliance issues.
- Analyze legal issues involving antitrust, intellectual property, employment, tax, and regulatory matters.
- Deliver practical, business-driven solutions directly to clients.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Texas Bar.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on M&A and business transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
