Commissary Shift Manager

Position Overview

The Commissary Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the commissary, ensuring efficient food preparation and service while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage staff, coordinate activities, and maintain a productive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of commissary staff during shifts.
• Ensure quality standards are met for food preparation and presentation.
• Manage inventory and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
• Train and mentor staff on food safety practices and preparation techniques.
• Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist in scheduling staff and managing shift changes effectively.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the shift.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commissary operations or a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
