The Commissary Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the commissary, ensuring efficient food preparation and service while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of commissary staff during shifts.
- Ensure quality standards are met for food preparation and presentation.
- Manage inventory and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
- Train and mentor staff on food safety practices and preparation techniques.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in scheduling staff and managing shift changes effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the shift.
- Proven experience in commissary operations or a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
