Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Longview, WA
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation: $24-$28/hour DOE

CV Resources is partnering with a growing Pacific Northwest organization to identify an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for an immediate opening. The ideal candidate will bring strong construction industry billing experience, including Time & Material (T&M) invoicing, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organization, and customer service are critical.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process customer invoices and billings
• Perform Time & Material (T&M) billing for projects
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
• Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts
• Generate aging reports and assist with collection activities
• Review contract terms and billing requirements to ensure accurate invoicing
• Maintain customer records and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams regarding billing status and collections
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Support additional accounting and administrative projects as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of billing and/or accounts receivable experience
• Construction, electrical, or related industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Time & Material (T&M) billing required
• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum or similar construction accounting software preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professional, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of ownership
