Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Salesforce Security Analyst. The work will be done onsite, 5 days per week, in East Peoria, IL; Dallas, TX; or Nashville, TN, depending on the client’s preference. This is a long-term 12-month position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $67/hr full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
Cullerton Group is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Security Analyst to support enterprise-wide Salesforce security governance, risk management, and platform protection. This role is responsible for developing strategy, evaluating security posture, implementing controls, and ensuring continuous compliance across multiple Salesforce environments. The analyst will assess security risks, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate with Salesforce teams to implement mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate has hands-on Salesforce administration experience paired with strong cybersecurity skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Engineer, implement, and maintain Salesforce security capabilities across multiple orgs
• Develop and maintain standards, processes, documentation, audits, and playbooks for Salesforce security governance
• Perform continuous control assessments and security monitoring within Salesforce environments
• Utilize Salesforce security tools such as Security Center, Optimizer, and Health Check
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce security controls and best practices
• Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities and provide timely recommendations
• Analyze and evaluate security configurations to prevent unauthorized access or data misuse
• Partner with Salesforce administrators, security teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of security initiatives
• Provide training, guidance, and consulting to the broader Salesforce community
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or security-related field with 6 years of experience; or 8 years of IT/security experience without a degree
• Previous experience as a Salesforce Administrator
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security controls, platform protection, and enterprise-scale cloud security
• Experience with cybersecurity concepts such as threat monitoring, identity and access management, and privileged access
• Experience leading remediation and security projects across complex IT environments
• Familiarity with Salesforce security tools such as Shield, Health Check, and Security Center
Preferred Qualifications
• Ranger-level Salesforce Trailhead badges (Security and Administration)
• Experience communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP or CISM
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps
