Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer 3. The work will be done onsite Lafayette, IN. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $42/hr full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer 3 will support new capital projects and ongoing production initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on developing planned method documentation, work instructions, and quality processes to ensure successful implementation of new machining assets and production improvements. The engineer will collaborate closely with project engineers and cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes. This position offers hands-on exposure to new equipment introduction, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop planned method documentation to support new capital equipment and production processes
• Create and maintain work instructions and quality check procedures for manufacturing operations
• Support manufacturing project engineers with asset preparation, validation, and implementation
• Provide manufacturing engineering support for current production and new equipment introduction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure production readiness
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Strong background in manufacturing processes and production support
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with project management, data analysis, and root cause analysis
• Experience in heavy equipment or manufacturing environments preferred
