Sales Executive- Freight Brokerage

This role is for a leader who is willing to get after it and is hungry to achieve their goals. Our client is looking for the right candidate who doesn’t sit around waiting for things to happen, you assertively make them happen. The sales member our client needs is a natural born closer who systematically pursues the close and wants to be awarded accordingly. They welcome proactive and detail oriented people who understand doing the right thing… and they want to talk with you!

Responsibilities

• Utilize communication skills daily to build relationships with potential customers through cold and warm outreach.
• Qualify prospects and help them find the best match to their Supply Chain needs.
• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery so that updated and accurate information can be provided to customers.
• Build and manage a book of business by developing and maintaining customer relationships, such as visiting customers to strengthen relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to make sure you are delivering the highest quality of service for their customers.
  
  

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 1 year of transportation experience.
• Ability to multi-task and stay focused.
• Independent work ethic.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and decision making skills.
• Basic understanding of Mac OS.
