Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow shipper relationships across truckload and intermodal freight
- Prospect and secure new shipper accounts through outbound sales efforts
- Expand freight volume across lanes and transportation modes
- Negotiate pricing based on current freight market conditions
- Partner with operations teams to ensure reliable, high-quality service delivery
This role is designed for professionals who already understand freight brokerage fundamentals, including lanes, market pricing, carrier relationships, and spot vs contract freight.
Must have experience
- 2 years in freight brokerage, 3PL sales, or transportation account management
- Experience selling truckload or intermodal freight services
- Prior responsibility for revenue generation or sales quotas
- Understanding of freight lanes, market pricing, and capacity trends
