What You Will Be Doing
- Plan and conduct virtual small-group and individual reading intervention sessions for learners in grades 3–8
- Leverage reading assessment results to identify fluency and comprehension deficits and modify instruction rapidly
- Adapt activities across varied reading proficiency levels, including accommodations for dyslexia and associated reading challenges
- Monitor progress with clarity and consistency, then apply that data to shape upcoming sessions
- Facilitate structured motivation check-ins that cultivate confidence, determination, and satisfaction in advancement
- Deliver large, full-class lessons or present from a static curriculum
- Execute a pre-scripted program without responding to learner needs and live feedback
- Serve as a passive "software supervisor" lacking meaningful instruction and rapport
- Depend on superficial incentives that fail to foster enduring motivation

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, literacy, or a closely related field
- Reading intervention certification or endorsement (e.g., Arizona Reading Specialist K-12 or equivalent state certification)
- Specialized training or certification in dyslexia intervention (or related structured literacy approaches)
- At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group or one-on-one reading interventions for students in grades 3–8
- Experience supporting students with dyslexia or related reading difficulties
- Ability to interpret progress monitoring data and use it to plan and adjust instruction
- Strong ability to engage and manage students in a virtual setting through clear, motivating communication
- Available to work in a hybrid capacity in Arizona as needed.
