What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Admissions, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most admissions positions are designed to maximize volume. This position exists to safeguard quality.
Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school models globally. Our locations integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely progress faster than national averages, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons are dedicated to deeper exploration, self-directed learning, and practical competency development. The model is effective. However, its success depends on enrolling the appropriate families.
This is your responsibility.
You will lead the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a role characterized by handoffs. You determine how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and recommend rejection when warranted. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is strategic fit.
We welcome applicants from premium client service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or founder-operators who have directly managed complex, high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to orchestrate a detailed, multi-phase process with sound judgment, transparent communication, and consistent execution.
If your professional background centers on delivering exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experiential excellence define reputation, this opportunity will resonate—applied here to work that produces measurable impact.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are recruiting in Seattle and Park City. Support for relocation is provided.
