What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Admissions, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most admissions positions prioritize throughput. This role is designed to uphold excellence.
Alpha is constructing a school model of rare ambition. Our locations combine demanding academics, learning driven by technology, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students advance through content faster than national averages—validated by measurable outcomes. Afternoon hours are reserved for deeper exploration, autonomy, and practical competencies. The model delivers. But success depends entirely on family alignment. Your role begins there.
You will oversee the complete admissions process for a campus location, spanning initial inquiry to confirmed enrollment. This is not a handoff position. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the educational philosophy, and whether enrollment choices reflect genuine fit. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate substantive dialogue, and advise against admission when circumstances warrant it. The objective is not maximizing headcount. The objective is ensuring compatibility.
We welcome applicants from elevated service sectors outside conventional education: selective independent schools, competitive admissions environments, high-end hospitality, executive concierge roles, premium membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly stewarded valuable client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a refined, multi-phase engagement with sound judgment, transparency, and accountability. If your background involves delivering exceptional service where reputation depends on trust, discretion, and experience caliber, this opportunity will resonate. Apply today to apply that standard to mission-driven work.
