What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Specialist, Alpha - $75,000/year USD position at Crossover?
You are the individual families will remember when they choose where to enroll. From initial inquiry through final commitment, you define how Alpha is perceived, communicated, and experienced. This position is designed for someone who understands that responsiveness, precision, and genuine care are not competing priorities—they define the baseline.
Alpha is transforming the concept of schooling. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent educational philosophy that honors students and their families alike. Admissions is the point where philosophy becomes tangible. Families approach us with curiosity, doubt, and optimism. Your responsibility is to turn ambiguity into clarity and conviction.
In this position, you own the admissions journey after a family expresses interest. You will reply to inquiries swiftly and with professionalism, arrange campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data accurate and current, and facilitate meaningful conversations that clarify Alpha's approach and help parents determine fit. This is not a background function. You are client-facing, detail-oriented, and directly responsible for shaping the family experience at Alpha.
This is an on-campus, high-tempo role suited to someone who thrives managing competing demands without sacrificing precision or personal connection. If you value flawless execution, clear communication, and building experiences that feel effortless from the outside, this position provides genuine ownership and meaningful influence.
